Who is responsible for your data
The operator of alfabetgenial.ro is Marketing Extrem SRL, Tax ID (CUI) 51660990, Trade Register J2025028326004, registered at Strada Dănulești 7, Sector 2, București, 023081. For questions or to exercise your rights: magazin@alfabetgenial.ro, telephone +40 771 111 889.
Data we use and why
- Orders and delivery: name, email, telephone, billing and delivery addresses, products ordered and payment status. We use these to enter into and perform the contract, communicate about orders, deliver products and handle returns (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- Invoicing: necessary tax details and transaction records are processed to meet accounting and tax obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).
- Customer account: account details and order history enable account management and access to your orders (Article 6(1)(b)). Creating an account is optional for purchases.
- Enquiries and complaints: we process relevant messages and documents to respond, perform the contract and respect statutory rights; protecting the company’s rights is based on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Operation and security: technical data such as IP address, browser type and access logs support website administration, error diagnosis and prevention of abuse, in our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
Required order fields are necessary to process your order. Without the necessary details we cannot confirm, invoice or deliver it. Do not email your complete card number, CVV or passwords.
Who may receive data
Access is restricted to authorised people and necessary providers: hosting and email through alfaweb.ro, accounting and invoicing through Oblio, the delivery courier, the payment processor selected at checkout, and competent authorities where required by law. The logistics destination for returns is Tehron Machines, Strada Fântânii 25, Brașov; information needed to identify a return may be shared with this partner.
Card details are handled by the payment processor. The shop receives the information needed to identify the transaction and its status. Available payment methods are shown at checkout.
Personalised PDF copies
Where a digital product includes personalisation, its page will state that the order email address is added to the downloaded copy. The marking identifies the copy and discourages unauthorised redistribution, in the legitimate interest of protecting copyright. Your email may be visible to other people if you share the file. We do not include your postal address or card details in the marking.
How long we keep data
Order data and tax documents are kept for the applicable statutory periods and as long as needed for contractual obligations, complaints and the defence of rights. Account data is retained while the account is in use, except information that must be kept separately by law. Enquiries, technical logs and backups must be subject to limited retention periods determined by their purpose, risks and applicable obligations.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier processing. Some data cannot be deleted immediately if statutory retention obligations apply.
Send requests to magazin@alfabetgenial.ro. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity. The usual response period is one month; any legally permitted extension will be explained and notified. You may lodge a complaint with ANSPDCP and seek a remedy before a court.
Payments, security and external services
Depending on the method selected at checkout, Stripe and payment method providers, including Klarna if selected, process data necessary for the transaction and fraud checks. Device information, IP address and transaction details may be used. We do not store complete card numbers or CVV codes in WooCommerce orders. Jetpack provides security features, and WooPayments/Automattic may use technical data to protect payments, including the Sift fraud-prevention service loaded at checkout. See Automattic’s notice for visitors and Sift’s privacy policy.
International providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the USA. Stripe and Automattic describe applicable safeguards in their policies, such as adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses where appropriate. The shop does not use data for solely automated decisions with legal effects on customers. Payment processors may apply their own risk checks. If a payment is declined, you can contact us and consult the provider’s information.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies help maintain sessions, authentication and basket functionality. Depending on your interaction, WooCommerce uses woocommerce_cart_hash and woocommerce_items_in_cart for the session and wp_woocommerce_session_*, normally lasting two days, to identify the basket. WordPress authentication cookies apply when you sign in. Payment services may use technologies necessary for operation and fraud prevention, as described in their policies.
Optional Jetpack statistics, external WooCommerce analytics through Jetpack and order-source attribution are disabled in the current configuration. Newsletter subscription is currently unavailable. Any future activation of optional analytics or marketing technologies will be accompanied by the required information and consent choices.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent basket use, sign-in or payment. Browser settings do not replace the shop’s obligations to obtain consent for optional uses.
